Ray Moran - Head of Asian Operations
Ray joined American Appraisal in 1979 and has completed and directed valuations in North and South America, Europe and Asia for purposes such as financing, project finance, purchase price allocation, tax, portfolio management and securitisation.
Ray was appointed national director of the Industrial Valuation Group in the USA in 1993, and more recently he has worked in Hong Kong where he was responsible for all aspects of strategic direction, sales, marketing and client service for China, Japan and Thailand.
As Head of Asian Operations, Ray is responsible for all aspects of the Australian business.

Ross Henderson - Managing Director, Industrial Valuation
Ross has over 20 years experience in asset valuation and consulting services. He has provided specialist industrial valuation advice to multinationals throughout Australia, Asia and Europe assisting with taxation, financial, insurance and general valuation strategies.
His work has included the project management of plant and equipment valuation teams undertaking tax consolidation valuations of iron ore, coal and nickel business operations and providing valuations for land rich stamp duty and impairment calculations.
He has assisted clients with independent valuations and advice to support their positions on purchase price allocation, stamp duty and other related issues.

John Farrant - Director, Financial Valuation
John is a founding member of the American Appraisal team in Australia, with over 12 years experience providing accounting, corporate finance and valuation advice. Prior to joining American Appraisal, John worked in the Valuation & Strategy division of PricewaterhouseCoopers and in London where he provided advice to the Office of Gas & Electricity Markets (Ofgem), the UK energy regulator.
His experience includes valuation advice for purchase price allocation, tax consolidation, financial reporting, mergers and acquisition purposes. John also has extensive experience providing portfolio valuation services for infrastructure and alternative asset investments, serving many of Australia's largest institutional investors.
John attended the University of Technology, Sydney, is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and earned a graduate diploma in Applied Finance & Investment from the Financial Services Institute of Australia.

Adrian Immarrata - Associate Director
Adrian has over 10 years experience in finance working in equities research and valuations, bringing a unique skill set to the American Appraisal team.
Before joining American Appraisal, Adrian worked for Salomon Smith Barney (now Citigroup) covering the Australian healthcare and biotechnology sectors. Adrian then moved into the valuation and strategy team at PricewaterhouseCoopers where he worked on valuation assignments for independent expert reports, purchase price allocation, tax consolidation, stamp duty, financial reporting and share based payments, as well as litigation and dispute resolution.
Over the last five years Adrian has focused on providing valuations in the areas of infrastructure, mining and financial instruments, including employee share schemes.

Massimo Gozzo - Manager
Massimo is a mechanical engineer with 10 years experience in consultancy and asset valuations. With a background in manufacturing, utilities, mining, petrochemicals, food and beverage and pharmaceutical industries. Massimo has been undertaking valuations of plant, infrastructure, and machinery and equipment since 2001 and has been actively involved in plant and machinery valuations, feasibility studies, production costs and investments analysis for business and strategic purposes.
